I strongly believe that God gives us struggles in life to increase our love for each other. What I’m
trying to say is most times its hard to have a bit of understanding what others might be going through if we do not have an idea how devastating it feels to walk on their shoes, it might not necessarily be similar events but it gives us a glimpse of idea. This basically makes one more compassionate than he would normally have been. We become a lot patient and kind to others, a little less judgy and open minded, realizing that sometimes life isn’t always black and white. People go through so much that most times they coat it with outward smiles while others don’t, we all have different ways of reacting to things.
It also opens our eyes and heart to a lot of things that we would normally neglect, like family and
friends (the right support system). Right now I honestly cannot imagine how horrifying life would have been if I didn’t have my parents or siblings that always pray, encourage and provide for me or the friends I have that say the nicest things to me and support me the ways they can, or those motivational speeches or links they send that I basically always clench at but subtly gets to my subconscious. We all have people around that strengthen us even if you have to look extra hard; they might just be an unexpected kind gesture from a stranger(s). The truth is, this is God’s way of telling us that He’s still looking out for us and He's still in control, that we should just hang in there while He makes a way. As we go through life, we all face different challenges (problem no they finish); and so is opportunities and reasons to be thankful; there’s always a reason(s) to be thankful, even if you need a microscope to see yours.
There’s no situation or predicament that is hopeless in this life. We only need to reach out to people around us, extending a hand of love to them. Everyone needs love but in different forms of course; it can come in form of charity, kindness, encouragement, gestures, forgiveness or even your sincerity to a person can still go a long way. God is Love and it’s the purest force in life. The bible says every other thing can fail us but love can never fail (1Corinthians 13).
Most times people attribute weakness to kindness, but the lamb becomes a lion by the strength of love in His heart. The strength of love is all that is needed to drive evil away.
Look at when family feuds, it really doesn’t matter who seems to have won, there are always more
feuds. This is because there is only hate, anger, violence, and sin in antagonism, and through feud, these things are allowed to grow. So when the feud is over, these are still there, just waiting for the next time they can surface and destroy families, neighbours, friends, colleagues and countries etc
In love, feuds would end and fighting would cease to be, as everyone would care for and respect each other. In love, only love grows, and so the end of evil would be in sight. Evil can never overcome God’s love, and by offering His love as a sacrifice, God shows how much He loves mankind and how much God prepared to give to save mankind.
Love is the power of God, and if we believe in that, all is possible.
