Update

I remember writing this POST years back when I was devastated about life. I couldn’t see any light at the end of the tunnel and couldn’t fathom how my life trajectory would get better. Looking back, I can totally understand the quote that says we can only understand the plans and intentionality of God in hindsight. All the struggles, the pain, the fear, and silent battles I went through all make sense now - they all add up in retrospect.

God is intentional, fam! It feels like a web; everything is interconnected - the providence of God. We might not know exactly how our lives might turn out, but keep trusting in God even when it doesn’t make sense because literally, all good and perfect gifts come from Him, and His timing is perfect.

I’ve come to realize that faith looks/feels different at different moments in one's life. Some days it feels calm - that feeling of 'whatever happens, I know I’ll be fine because I have God by my side.' Other days, it might feel like a struggle because your being knows you can trust God, but your flesh is unsettled. But whatever faith looks like for you in this exact moment, do not beat yourself up because God sees you and understands. Let’s not project our imperfect nature onto a perfect God.

The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy; what He does for another - He’ll surely do for you and even better because it’s meant for you. I often say this without putting so much thought into it, but looking back at my life, I can boldly say that God isn’t a partial God; He blesses everyone. When you’re in your waiting or planting season, share in people’s joy because surely and certainly yours is already on its way, and just like that, you’ll be in awe.

God is faithful, and His words are true - even when trusting is hard, when believing seems like a struggle, and when hope just cuts deep, hang in there. Let the breath in your lungs be an indication that God is with you, and this too shall pass.

One thing I have come to realize is no one has the answer or roadmap to life - nobody has your future in their hands, and no one calls the shots on your destiny aside from God. Do what you can do, keep getting better and growing, live a good life; one that your conscience approves of, and try to build a strong relationship with God for yourself because that's really what will keep you when the chips are down.

Whoever is reading this, God never sends you into a situation alone. God goes before you, He stands beside you, He walks behind you. Whatever situation you have right now, be confident. God is with you.

God is a good father - life in itself is a miracle, and I am here for it."
