Trust
Hey you! This is basically our first encounter this year. A lot has already happened in the span of two weeks. I perceive an adventurous and exciting year for us all.
You know how paranoid and anxious I get but guess what? I have been evolving😹.
You have to come to the realisation that God loves you more than you can ever love yourself. I know this sounds cliché but hold on; you already know that God loves you blah blah…, but have you ever taken the time to critically think it through that He actually loves me more than I can ever possibly love myself. So He basically “carry my matter for head”.
Visualize this; you love yourself and you’re always stressing about what the future holds for you, striving, planning and all those stuffs you do because you want a better life for yourself. And there’s this big guy that literally created/owns the world and can basically do whatever He wants with it, He sees the end from the beginning; meaning that He knows the outcome of every path you can ever take. And the good news is that He loves you more than you can ever think of loving yourself.
So why are you anxious?
Remember I said He sees the outcome of every path at each stage of your life. And most times what you perceive with your limited human knowledge as the best decision/path might actually be bad for you at the long run, other times it might be the best for you. Because God loves you so much He would rather have you practice delayed gratification than enjoy momentary satisfaction. He wants you to reach your highest and truest potentials and you will.
God came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance to the full, till it overflows (John 10:10); meaning He does not want you to have a half baked life. So basically you ought to enjoy every season of your life, that’s the will of God for you. Realising that you actually cannot love yourself better than God, gives this confidence that no matter the season you’re in life, that God sees you and has it all figured out and you honestly don’t have to worry about nothing.
When disappointment comes, it’s simply a redirection or maybe you’re just not ready for that stage yet. The truth is if you’re given something you cannot handle, it ends up being a source of misery to you. God makes all things beautiful at His time (Ecc 3:11) just at the right time. Most times you pray for clarity and get it instantly, other times you won’t get that closure you seek. But In every situation, remember you can never love yourself better than your creator loves you. With that in your heart, it’ll be a lot easier to trust and rest in His love.
Don’t forget to renew your mind daily with His words; it makes the process a lot seamless.
Love Kosisochi
