Psalm 23 b
Thank you so much for reading my blog, you really have no idea how much it means to me.
Continuation of Psalm 23...
He Guides Me Along The Right Path For His Name Sake
Just like the shepherd leads and guide his sheep, providing food and shelter for them. Making sure they don’t endanger themselves. So I am rest assured that my saviour is directing me. So I can live at peace with this fact.
Even Though I Walk Through The Darkest Valley, I Will Fear No Evil, For You Are With Me; Your Rod And Your Staff, They Comfort Me
1 Samuel 17:34-; David replied Saul when his ability to defeat goliath was questioned by Saul; “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flocks, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it.
(Wooow! This should give you a visual representation of what it’s like to have a shepherd!, in our case bears and lions are pain, afflictions, problems etc of this world)
God leads us through the numerous uncertainties of this world.
You Prepare A Table Before Me In The Presence Of My Enemies
As the scripture says, “Anyone who trust in the LORD will never be put to shame. (Romans 10:11)
Esther 6
This chapter illustrated how Mordecai was honoured in front of and by the man that wanted to kill him Haman.
The king couldn’t sleep, so he ordered for the book of chronicles; the record of his reign to be brought to him, where he discovered that Mordecai had saved his life but was not rewarded. So the king summoned his most trusted adviser Haman, whom he asked “what should be done for the man the king delights to honour”, well... Haman thought the king was referring to him so he responded “let them bring a royal robe the king has worn and a horse the king has ridden, one with a royal crest placed on its head. Then let the robe and horse be entrusted to one of the king’s most noble princes. Let them robe the man the king delights to honour, and lead him on the horse through the city streets, proclaiming before him, “This is what is done for the man the king delights to honour!” So the king commanded Haman to go at once and do exactly this to Mordecai and shouldn’t leave any stone untouched.
When Haman was done, he rushed home with his head covered in grief, and told his wife and friends all that had happened. His advisors and his wife Zeresh said to him, ‘since Mordecai, before whom your downfall has started, is of Jewish origin, you cannot stand against him, you will surely come to ruin. (No one can stand against God’s people!!!)
Esther 7:9
The Harbona, one of the eunuchs attending the king, said, “A gallows seventy-five feet high stands by Haman’s house. He had it made for Mordecai, who spoke up to help the king. “The king said, “Hang him on it”. So they hanged Haman on the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the King’s fury subsided... Mordecai was presented with the signet ring which was reclaimed from Haman by the king and he was also appointed over Haman’s estate. Mordecai was eventually promoted to the second in rank to king Xerxes.
You Anoint My Head With Oil; My Cup Overflows
However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9)
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask for or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21)
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel “oh, that You would enlarge my territory! Let Your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. (1 Chronicle 4:10)
Then angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, ‘I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of your enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me (Genesis 22:15) (the devil cannot steal something from you if you are willing to give it or sole it as seed)
So Pharaoh said to Joseph, I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt (Genesis 41:1)
The overwhelming promises of God to David; omg!!! (2 Samuel 8-16)
Surely Your Goodness And Love Will Follow Me All The Days Of My Life, I Will Dwell In The House Of The LORD Forever.
Isaiah 41:10-18
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand
All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all
For I am the Lord, your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you, declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy one of Israel.
I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs...
Conclusively,
John 10
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me-- just as the Father knows me and I know the Father--and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life--only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.
(“The hired hands are humans whom God has placed in our lives to help us reach the next level (our destiny helpers, spiritual mentors etc) but we shouldn’t confuse them for God because during any sort of storm, they will abandon us because they are only human")
Brilliant. God bless you
