Psalm 23 b

Thank you so much for reading my blog, you really have no idea how much it means to me.  Continuation of Psalm 23... He Guides Me Along The Right Path For His Name Sake Just like the shepherd leads and guide his sheep, providing food and shelter for them. Making sure they don’t endanger themselves. So I am rest assured that my saviour is directing me. So I can live at peace with this fact. Even Though I Walk Through The Darkest Valley, I Will Fear No Evil, For You Are With Me; Your Rod And Your Staff, They Comfort Me 1 Samuel 17:34-; David replied Saul when his ability to defeat goliath was questioned by Saul; “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flocks, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. (Wooow! This should give you a visual representation of what it’s like to have a shepherd!...

Psalm 23 a

I feel really connected to this chapter; it feels like a love note from Christ written specifically for me. Below is a highlight of what the chapter means to me; Here you go... (Psalm 23; New International Version) The LORD Is My Shepherd, I Lack Nothing This reminds me of how much I need God’s direction and not have to carry the weight of the world on my head by relinquishing all authorities (my anxieties, weaknesses, burdens, fears) to Him because He is my shepherd. If we can be a bit imaginative and visualise how these herdsmen lead their sheep/cow and direct their paths, leading them into fertile land so they could feed on and making sure no harm befalls them and all their needs are catered for. And if they separate from their shepherd they might get hit by a moving vehicle or slaughtered by a thief. He Makes Me To Lie Down In Green Pasture The LORD removes the worries and anxiety of this world from my life because I know I can trust Him. What isn’t mine won...
